The weather here lately has been crazy. A couple weeks ago, I felt the sun. I sent Dane to school in shorts. We were grilling out and blowing bubbles in the yard. And then. . .this happened. . .
I mean, seriously? We were up north at our lake cabin, opening it up for the season. We came back home that night because our sitter wasn't feeling well, and woke up to this! How ironic is that? Getting your summer place ready while winter is still trying to wreck the party? Well, I'm happy to say, the snow didn't get the best of us. We went back up to the cabin the next day and focused on cleaning and freshening up the inside of the cabin. In less than 24 hours, the snow was melted.
Like us, I'm sure your family is starting to dream about summer. Do you spend a lot of time outside? Do you go camping? We have so many friends and family who enjoy camping. There's something about the Northwoods here in Wisconsin that draws people from near and far. The minute we turn onto the road that leads to our cabin, we immediately feel a sense of relief and serenity. No lie. It's the most wonderful feeling ever.
If you enjoy the outdoors as much as we do, you're going to love this Go Camping FREE Printable that I'm sharing today.
What's your favorite camping activity? When we're at the cabin, I enjoy IT ALL. Swimming in the lake, sitting by the campfire making s'mores, fishing off the dock, lounging on the boat. It's all good and the warm weather can't come soon enough. I have the worst spring fever EVER!
If you love to camp, download this printable, frame it and hang it in your camper. Are you a camp counselor? Put it in one of the main meeting areas for all the campers to see. If you have good intentions to camp this summer, place it on your mantel or coffee table for some inspiration! Whatever your plans are for the summer, just get outside and enjoy it!
If you're not an outdoors enthusiast, then try bringing the outside, indoors. Whatever you do, have fun! And if it's warm where you live, send some of that sweet sun our way!!
To print out the printable, I found the easiest way is to use Windows Photo Viewer. Go to the print screen and then choose the size of photo you want. I like to trim my printables down a bit, put them into and 8×10″ frame and use them to decorate our home AND lake cabin!

I love the frame you have yours in. Where is it from?

Living in Wisconsin we have so many little boutiques and shops around here that sell "north woodsy" items like this frame. I believe I got it in a little shop in Northern Wisconsin several years ago. It used to hold a family photo of my husband, me and our dog before we had children. 🙂
