An easy chocolate fudge cake filled with gooey melted caramel. No frosting required! Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! Sooo good!

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยบ Fahrenheit.
  2. Prepare cake mix as package indicates.
  3. Pour 2 cups batter in a 9×13 inch greased baking pan.
  4. Bake 15 minutes.
  5. Melt caramels, butter and sweetened condensed milk over medium-heat, stirring frequently until smooth.
  6. Spread evenly over baked layer.
  7. Spread remaining cake mix batter over caramel mixture.
  8. Return to oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched.
  9. Serve with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

If cake has cooled before you’re ready to enjoy, slice and warm slightly in microwave. Enjoy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
