Instructions

1. Take the gelato out of the freezer and allow it to begin to thaw.
2. Line the inside of an 8×8 pan with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick spray.
3. Place the chocolate chips in a microwave bowl and warm in microwave, stirring every 30 seconds or so until it is melted and smooth. Take care not to overheat.
4. Add the softened ice cream to the chocolate and stir until well-combined. The mixture will begin to harden a bit.
5. Return the bowl to the microwave for 25-30 seconds or until the mixture is smooth.
6. Pour the fudge evenly into the pan and refrigerate for 1 hour.
7. After the fudge is set, lift the foil out of the pan and cut into small squares.
8. The fudge can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
