For the Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Mix Jello and water; cool.
  3. Mix oil and cake mix.
  4. Add eggs to the mix, one at a time.
  5. Add the cooled Jello and mix.
  6. Spread in greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 27-30 minutes.
  8. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes, then add the glaze.
  9. Allow cake to cool completely before cutting.

Glaze

  1. Mix the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla.
  2. Using a toothpick or fork, poke holes in top of cake; pour glaze over top and sides.
  3. Sprinkle on some extra powdered sugar and top with a dollop of whipped cream (optional) before serving.
