Peeps Cake With Marshmallow Frosting

This cake incorporates bits of Peeps right into the baking process, producing a colorful and slightly sweetened cake with a fluffy, marshmallow frosting that literally melts in your mouth!



  1. For the Cake
  2. Preheat oven to directed temperature on the bake of the cake box.
  3. Cut the Peeps into small pieces taking care to keep the colors separate, if desired.
  4. Prepare the batter for the cake as directed on the box.
  5. In a greased 9×13 inch pan, add half of the batter.
  6. Sprinkle half of the chopped Peeps evenly over the top.
  7. Cover the chopped Peeps with the remaining cake batter.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining Peeps pieces over the top of the cake.
  9. Bake as directed on the back of the cake box.
  10. Allow cake to cool.
  11. For the Frosting
  12. Cream the butter until fluffy and add the marshmallow creme until well-combined.
  13. Mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla.
  14. Frost cooled cake and top cake pieces with Peeps if desired.
