Notes

  1. Safety Precaution: Baking the flour at 350º Fahrenheit for 6-7 minutes is essential to kill any potential bacteria, making the edible unicorn cookie dough safe to consume. This step ensures that the flour is safe for consumption without the risk of foodborne illness. Allow the flour to cool completely before using it in the cookie dough recipe.
  2. Colorful Variation: Customize the appearance of your edible unicorn cookie dough by adding drops of pink, purple, and blue food coloring. Use a spatula to spread the colors throughout the dough evenly, creating a vibrant and whimsical marbled effect. Adjust the amount of food coloring used to achieve your desired shade of each color.
  3. Sprinkle Addition: Enhance the visual appeal and texture of the cookie dough by folding in colorful sprinkles. The sprinkles add a fun and festive touch to the dough, reminiscent of unicorn-inspired treats. Fold the sprinkles gently into the dough to distribute them evenly without overmixing. This adds a delightful crunch and burst of color to each bite of the edible cookie dough. Store the prepared dough in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days to maintain its freshness.
