Ingredients

Instructions

  • Place heavy whipping cream in a large mixing bowl.  Beat with a hand mixer until peaks form.
  • Slowly pour in sweetened condensed milk. Beat again until mixture is smooth.
  • Add cotton candy flavoring and mix again.
  • Split the mixture into three equal bowls.  Leave one bowl white.  Add blue food coloring to another bowl and pink to another.  Mix until desired colors are reached.
  • Using a spoon, add spoonfuls of each color to a pan.  I used a glass bread pan.
  • Gently shake after each layer.
  • When all ice cream is in the pan, use a knife to swirl the colors together.
  • Add sprinkles evenly over top.
  • Freeze for 8-12 hours before serving.

Notes

  • You can get cotton candy flavoring from Amazon, Walmart, Michaels and Hobby Lobby.
  • Homemade ice cream does melt quicker than store-bought so keep that in mind for when you’re planning on serving.
  • I recommend wrapping the container in plastic wrap or aluminum foil which helps prevent freezer burn.
