Strawberry Cake Mix Brownies
Sweet and simple brownies made with strawberry cake mix, covered in whipped strawberry frosting, and topped with fresh sliced strawberries.

Ingredients
- Box strawberry cake mix
- 2 eggs
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Strawberry frosting I used Betty Crocker Whipped Strawberry Mist Frosting
- Fresh strawberries for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Prepare a 9x9-inch baking dish by spraying it with cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat strawberry cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla.
- Transfer batter to your prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 22-24 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before frosting.
- Garnish with fresh strawberries (optional).
- Cut and serve.
Notes
- Add a strawberry whipped cream or glaze for even more strawberry flavor.
- These brownies taste great served with a scoop of ice cream!
- Use the toothpick test to ensure the brownies are fully cooked.
- If you still want some chocolate flavor, add dark chocolate or milk chocolate chips to the batter. You can also add chocolate drizzle atop the brownies.
