Ingredients

  • Hawaiian Punch - Green Berry Rush
  • Lemon-lime soda
  • Gummy worms
  • Muffin tin for freezing the worm disks

Instructions

  • Place two worms into each muffin tin and fill with Hawaiian Punch until worms are just covered.
  • Freeze for 2-3 hours.
  • Fill a glass ¾ full with Hawaiian Punch and then add lemon-lime soda to fill the glass.
  • Drop in a frozen worm disk and serve immediately.

Notes

  1. Preparation of Worm Disks: When making the worm disks, ensure that each muffin tin compartment is filled with enough Hawaiian Punch to cover the gummy worms. This ensures that the worms freeze evenly into the punch and are easy to remove from the molds once frozen. Placing two worms in each compartment ensures that there are enough gummy worms in each serving of the punch.
  2. Freezing Time: Freeze the worm disks for at least 2–3 hours or until they are completely solid. This ensures that the gummy worms are fully frozen into the punch and maintain their shape when added to the glass. Allowing sufficient freezing time also prevents the worm disks from melting too quickly when added to the punch, ensuring that they stay intact for a fun and visually appealing presentation.
  3. Serving Presentation: When serving the Gummy Worm Punch, fill the glass three-quarters full with Hawaiian Punch before adding the lemon-lime soda. This ratio ensures that the punch has a balanced flavor and sweetness. Add the frozen worm disk to the glass just before serving to create a fun and whimsical effect. The worm disk will slowly dissolve into the punch, releasing the gummy worms and adding a playful element to the drink. Serve the punch immediately for maximum enjoyment.
