  • Top with chocolate syrup and sprinkles.

Notes

  1. Baking Timing: Keep a close eye on the brownie bowls while they bake to avoid overcooking. Since ovens vary in temperature, start checking for doneness a few minutes before the recommended baking time. Overbaking can result in dry brownie bowls, so it's crucial to remove them from the oven as soon as a toothpick inserted into the edges comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  2. Proper Cooling: Allow the brownie bowls to cool in the muffin pan for a few minutes after removing them from the oven. This brief cooling period helps them set and makes them easier to handle. Be cautious when transferring them to another muffin tin for shaping, as they may still be delicate while warm. Once shaped, allow them to cool completely before filling to prevent the custard from melting too quickly.
  3. Creative Garnishes: While chocolate syrup and sprinkles are classic toppings, feel free to get creative with your garnishes. Experiment with different toppings like crushed nuts, whipped cream, caramel sauce, or fresh fruit for added flavor and texture. Gumballs can add a fun and colorful touch, but ensure they are small enough not to overwhelm the dessert's taste and texture.
