Notes

  1. Customize Ingredients: The beauty of this oven-baked omelette recipe is its versatility. Feel free to customize the ingredients to suit your taste preferences or dietary restrictions. Swap out the suggested vegetables and protein for your favorites, or add additional ingredients like spinach, tomatoes, or cooked bacon. Make it your own by experimenting with different flavor combinations.
  2. Even Distribution: Ensure that all the ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the egg mixture to ensure each bite is flavorful. After mixing everything together, use a spatula to spread the mixture evenly in the baking pan. This helps prevent any pockets of ingredients from clumping together, resulting in a more uniform texture and taste in the finished dish.
  3. Proper Baking Time: Since ovens can vary in temperature, it's essential to monitor the omelette closely during baking to avoid overcooking or undercooking. The omelette is ready when it's set in the center and lightly golden brown on top. Use a toothpick or knife inserted into the center to check for doneness; if it comes out clean, the omelette is cooked through. Adjust the baking time as needed based on your oven's characteristics.
