Air Fryer Balsamic Carrots

Carrots sweetened with honey, air fried and then tossed in a buttery balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces large carrots peeled and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk olive oil, honey, salt, and pepper together.
  • Add carrots and stir until they are completely coated.
  • Transfer carrots to a greased air fryer basket.
  • Air fry at 390º Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes or until carrots are tender.
  • Transfer cooked carrots to a bowl.
  • Add balsamic glaze and melted butter.
  • Stir until well-combined.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Oven preparation instructions: Follow the instructions for seasoning the carrots and then place them on a cookie sheet in a preheated oven set to 425º Fahrenheit. Bake for up to 30 minutes, depending on the size of your carrots. I would suggest checking them at around the 20 minute mark for doneness.
