Air Fryer Prime Rib
This tender, juicy and flavor-filled prime rib is sure to impress over the holidays or for any special occasion. Seasoned to perfection and coated in garlic and herbs, this prime rib roast is ready to serve in under two hours!

4-5 pound prime rib roast 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon salt 1 tablespoon pepper 1 teaspoon smoked paprika 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 ½ tablespoon fresh chopped rosemary 1 tablespoon fresh chopped thyme ¼ cup minced garlic
Lay roast on a large piece of plastic wrap.
Brush olive oil on all sides of roast.
Season all sides of roast with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, rosemary, and thyme.
Press minced garlic onto roast.
Wrap plastic wrap around roast, sealing it tightly.
Place wrapped roast in refrigerator overnight.
Remove the prime rib from the fridge and place on counter to allow the meat to come to room temperature for 2-3 hours before cooking.
When ready to cook, unwrap roast and place it in the greased air fryer basket.
Air fry at 390ºF for 20 minutes.
Reduce temperature to 320ºF and air fry for an additional 60 minutes or until internal temp reaches 120º - 125ºF for medium-rare.
Remove roast from air fryer and allow to rest for 20-30 minutes.
Slice and serve!
Allow your prime rib to come up to room temperature before cooking.
Keep an eye on the internal temperature to cook your prime rib to your preference.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days.
