Ingredients

  • cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 3 cups colored mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 15 ounce can crushed pineapple drained
  • 10 ounce jar maraschino cherries without stems drained and patted dry
  • 11 ounce can mandarin orange wedges drained
  • ½ cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat heavy whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla until peaks form.
  • Add sour cream and beat again.
  • Add marshmallows, coconut, pineapple, dry cherries, mandarin oranges, and pecans. Stir until combined.
  • Cover and chill for 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • If you’re using canned fruit, make sure to drain well to keep your salad from becoming watery.
  • Add more or less sugar to adjust sweetness.
  • Keep this salad in the fridge for a few hours before serving for best results.
  • Try not to over mix, as the fruit can get somewhat mushy.
