Perfect Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • 3-4 pound chuck roast
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 envelope dry ranch salad dressing mix
  • 1 envelope dry Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1 envelope dry onion gravy mix
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 1 bag mini carrots

Instructions

  • In a large saucepan, brown the roast in the olive oil (about 1 minute per side).
  • Place the sliced onion and mini carrots in the slow cooker.
  • Place the browned roast on top of the onion and carrots.
  • In a small bowl, combine the dry mixes, warm water and beef broth until well blended.
  • Pour the mixture over the roast.
  • Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
