2tablespoonsolive oil
2teaspoonsminced garlic
1eggbeaten
1teaspoongarlic powder
Sprinkle of salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a large bowl whisk together the oil, garlic, egg, garlic powder and salt.
Add the green beans and toss until fully coated with the egg mixture.
Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on the green beans.
Spread the beans out on a foil-lined baking pan.
Bake for 15-17 minutes.
Place under broiler for 2 minutes.
Notes
Even Coating: Ensure that the green beans are thoroughly coated with the egg mixture to help the Parmesan cheese and seasonings adhere evenly. Tossing the beans in the mixture ensures each bean gets a delicious flavor and crispy coating.
Proper Spreading: Arrange the green beans in a single layer on the baking pan to ensure even roasting. Crowding the beans can lead to steaming instead of roasting, resulting in a less crispy texture. Use a large enough baking pan to accommodate all the beans without overlapping.
Broiling for Crispiness: Finishing the green beans under the broiler for a couple of minutes helps to crisp up the Parmesan cheese and adds a delightful golden-brown color to the dish. Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning, as broilers can vary in intensity.
