Lay pie crusts on top of each other on a nonstick surface.
Roll the crust out into a 12x17-inch rectangle.
Transfer dough to a greased 15x10-inch jelly roll pan.
Gently press the crust into the pan, folding the dough on the edges as need to create even edges. Decorate the edges as desired.
Place crust in the refrigerator until filling is ready.
For the Filling
To prepare filing, put sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and lemon juice in a large mixing bowl. Stir until combined.
Add apples and stir again until all apples are coated.
Transfer apple mixture to chilled crust.
For the Topping
To prepare topping, mix all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Using a fork, cut butter into other ingredients. Sprinkle mixture over top of apples.
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until top begins to brown and apples are tender.
Allow to cool 30 minutes.
For the Glaze
In a small bowl, prepare glaze by mixing the powdered sugar and half and half together.
Drizzle glaze over top of your Sheet Pan Apple Pie. Cut, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
Roll Dough Evenly for Consistent Baking: Aim for an even thickness when rolling out the dough in the sheet pan. This ensures the crust cooks uniformly, preventing over- or under-baked spots.
Let the Pie Cool Before Slicing: Allow the pie to cool slightly after baking. This helps the filling set and makes cleaner slices, keeping all those delicious layers intact when serving.
Avoid Overcrowding the Apples: Arrange apples in a single, even layer to help the filling cook evenly and prevent soggy spots. A uniform layer of fruit also allows the crumble topping to bake up golden and crisp.
Watch the Crumble for Perfect Color: If the crumble is browning too quickly, cover the pie loosely with foil halfway through baking. This prevents over-browning while allowing the filling to finish cooking.
Serve Warm for Best Flavor: Warm slices bring out the aromatic spices and buttery crust flavors. Serve with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream for an extra indulgent treat.
Make Ahead and Reheat: This pie can be prepared a day in advance. Reheat individual slices in the oven or microwave for that fresh-baked taste when ready to serve.
