You start by warming the coconut oil with the honey in the microwave for about 30 seconds or so. You don't want it liquified, you just want it softened and easy to mix.
Then add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl and mix.
For the vitamin E capsule, don't you have to squeeze the vitamin E out of the capsule and then just dispose of the capsule, itself.
Notes
Coconut Oil and Honey: When warming the coconut oil and honey in the microwave, keep an eye on them to ensure they only soften and mix easily. Overheating may cause the mixture to become too hot and alter the consistency of the lip polish. Start with short intervals and adjust as needed to reach the desired consistency.
Vitamin E Capsule: To incorporate the benefits of Vitamin E into the lip polish, puncture the capsule with a clean needle or scissors, then squeeze the contents into the mixture. Discard the empty capsule shell. Vitamin E helps nourish and moisturize the lips, promoting softness and health.
Consistency Adjustment: After mixing all the ingredients, assess the consistency of the lip polish. If it's too thick, consider adding a bit more coconut oil to achieve a smoother texture. On the other hand, if it's too runny, add a bit more sugar to thicken it. Adjusting the consistency ensures the lip polish is easy to apply and provides effective exfoliation.
