  • Gently toss shrimp in mixture until evenly-coated.
  • Spray air fryer basket with non-stick spray and place shrimp in basket.
  • Cook at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until seasoning on shrimp is browned.
  • Squeeze the lemon over the shrimp before serving.

Notes

  1. Selecting Shrimp: Choose jumbo cooked shrimp that are peeled and deveined to save time in preparation. Look for shrimp that are firm, with a bright and translucent appearance, indicating freshness. Thaw frozen shrimp completely before using and pat them dry with paper towels to ensure the seasoning adheres well during cooking.
  2. Seasoning Blend: Create a flavorful seasoning blend by combining minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, pepper, oregano, basil, and onion powder with olive oil. Ensure that the seasoning mixture coats the shrimp evenly by gently tossing them in the bowl. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences, but be cautious not to overpower the delicate flavor of the shrimp.
  3. Air Frying Technique: To achieve perfectly cooked and crispy Parmesan shrimp, preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray the basket with non-stick spray to prevent sticking. Arrange the seasoned shrimp in a single layer in the basket to allow for even cooking and browning. Cook the shrimp for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through if necessary, until they are golden brown and the seasoning is nicely caramelized. Serve the shrimp immediately with freshly squeezed lemon juice for a burst of citrus flavor.
