112 ounce bag frozen mixed vegetables, thawed and warmed
110.5 ounce can cream of chicken
1cupsour cream
⅓cupmilk
1teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonpepper
1teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspoonground thyme
¼cupparmesan cheeseshredded or grated
2cupsmozzarella cheeseshredded (divided)
1cupFrench fried onions
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Prepare noodles according to package directions.
In a large mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken, sour cream, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, thyme, Parmesan cheese, and 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese.
Add turkey and mixed vegetables. Mix well.
Stir in cooked noodles.
Put mixture into a greased 2-3 quart baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Top with French fried onions and baking for an additional 5 minutes.
Notes
My biggest tip is to use a BIG bowl.
This is a great recipe to use up leftover chopped turkey.
Since the meat is pre-cooked, there's no need to cook it before freezing. It can last in the freezer for up to three months.
