Air Fryer French Toast

Thick pieces of brioche dipped, air fried and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. Fluffy on the inside, beautifully browned on the outside!

Ingredients

  • 6 pieces of thick-sliced brioche bread
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • Toppings of your choice optional

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla together.
  • Prepare air fryer by spritzing the basket with oil.
  • Dredge two pieces of bread in the egg mixture, covering both sides.
  • Place them in the air fryer basket, making sure they aren’t touching.
  • Cook at 360º Fahrenheit for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
  • Brush with melted butter and generously sprinkle with sugar/cinnamon mixture. Continue with remaining pieces of bread.
  • Serve with your choice of toppings.

Notes

  • You can use brioche bread, French bread, Texas toast, or challah. 
  • Spray your air fryer basket so your bread doesn’t stick. 
  • Don’t let your bread sit in your egg mixture too long, or it’ll become “water-logged.”
