Ingredients

  • 32 cherry tomatoes
  • 16 mozzarella balls or pearls
  • 32 basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • 8 wooden skewers

Instructions

  • Thread a cherry tomato on each skewer followed by a basil leaf, a mozzarella ball, a basil leaf, and another tomato.
  • Arrange the skewers on a plate and drizzle with the balsamic glaze.

Notes

  • Try to use tomatoes the same size as the mozzarella pearls so that your skewers look more balanced and you get even flavors.
  • This recipe is best when made the same day that you’re planning on eating them.
  • If you can’t find mozzarella pearls, feel free to slice fresh mozzarella into small cubes.
