Ingredients

  • Red: Strawberries
  • Orange: Cantaloupe
  • Yellow: Pineapple
  • Green: Honey Dew
  • Blue: Blueberries
  • Indigo: Alright not ALL the colors
  • Violet: Red Grapes

Instructions

  • Cut all the fruit into bite sized pieces.
  • Layer the fruit on the skewers in rainbow color format.
  • Enjoy right away, or store in the fridge.

Notes

  1. Uniformity in Cutting: Aim for uniformity in cutting the fruit into bite-sized pieces to ensure consistency in texture and presentation. This not only enhances the visual appeal of the skewers but also makes them easier to eat.
  2. Sturdy Skewers: Choose sturdy skewers to hold the fruit pieces securely in place. If using wooden skewers, consider soaking them in water for about 30 minutes before assembling the fruit skewers. This helps prevent them from splintering or burning during grilling, if you choose to grill them.
  3. Variation in Fruit Size: While maintaining uniformity in cutting, consider varying the size of the fruit pieces slightly to create visual interest and texture contrast on the skewers. Larger pieces can be interspersed with smaller ones to add dimension to the presentation.
