Peanut Butter Preacher Cookies

Easy-to-make, soft and chewy no-bake peanut butter cookies drizzled in sweet melted chocolate.

Ingredients

For the Cookies:

  • 3 cups quick 1-minute oats uncooked
  • 2 cups sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

For the Chocolate Drizzle:

  • ½ cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  • Add oatmeal to a large mixing bowl.  Set aside. 
  • Add sugar, butter, salt, and milk to a medium saucepan.  
  • Over medium heat, stir often, and bring mixture to a low boil for one minute.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and peanut butter until smooth.
  • Pour mixture over top of oatmeal.  Stir until well-combined.
  • Scoop tablespoons of batter onto wax paper.  
  • Gently press each spoonful with your fingers to flatten them.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, microwave chocolate chips and butter in 30-second intervals until melted.  Be sure to stir often.
  • Drizzle melted chocolate over cookies with a spoon.
  • Allow the cookies to cool completely.

Notes

  • Your mixture should be at a rolling boil before you set the one minute timer. 
  • The cookies will take a bit of time before fully setting up, about 45 minutes. 
  • Add in chopped nuts, M&Ms or dried fruit for more variations of this cookie recipe.
