16ouncepackage Pillsbury Ready to Bake Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough12 Big Cookies
6full graham cracker sheetsbroken in half to make 12 squares
3Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars
24large marshmallowsdivided
Black edible markerfor decorating
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Arrange the 12 graham cracker squares on the prepared baking sheet.
Break the chocolate bars into pieces and place a portion of chocolate in the center of each graham cracker.
Place one large marshmallow on top of each piece of chocolate.
Separate the cookie dough into 12 portions. Flatten each piece of dough into a round large enough to cover the top of the s’mores stack.
Drape the flattened cookie dough over each marshmallow, gently shaping it around the top and sides to form a dome. Leave the graham cracker exposed underneath.
Bake for 15–19 minutes, or according to package directions, until the cookies are golden brown and baked through.
While the cookies are baking, use a black edible marker to draw two eyes and a spooky mouth on the remaining 12 marshmallows.
Remove the cookies from the oven. While they are still warm, gently press one decorated marshmallow onto the top of each cookie so it sticks in place.
Let the cookies cool for several minutes before serving.
Notes
Line with parchment paper: Melted marshmallow and chocolate can be sticky, so lining your baking sheet makes cleanup much easier.
Use a rolling pin: Flatten your cookie dough easily with the help of a rolling pin! Make sure to roll it into a large enough circle so that it fully drapes over the entire s'mores “tower,” but isn’t too thin that it tears apart.
Keep the marshmallows centered: Try to place the marshmallows in the center of each cookie to keep them from melting too far over the edge as they bake.
Watch the baking time: Keep an eye on the cookies towards the end of the baking time. You want the cookie dough to be golden and the marshmallows to be soft and gooey without being over-baked.
Add the ghosts while warm: Press the decorated marshmallows onto the cookies shortly after removing them from the oven so they stick without needing frosting.
