Plug your hair dryer in and turn it to the hottest setting.
Hold the hair dryer very close to the wax on the wall or surface it has spilled.
While you're holding the hair dryer, in your other hand, bunch up some paper towels and hold them underneath the hair dryer to catch the wax as it melts and begins to drip down the wall.
Catch the wax as it begins to run down the wall and begin to wipe it away quickly with the clean paper towels.
Quickly rotate the paper towels to ensure you are always using a clean spot to wipe away the wax.
Notes
Use Caution with Heat: While a hair dryer can effectively melt the wax, be cautious not to hold it too close to the wall for an extended period, especially if your walls are painted or made of delicate materials. Excessive heat could cause damage or discoloration. Keep the hair dryer at a safe distance initially, gradually moving closer as needed to melt the wax.
Protect Surrounding Areas: To prevent wax from dripping onto the floor or other surfaces, place a protective barrier, such as a towel or newspaper, underneath the area you're working on. This will catch any melted wax and prevent it from spreading or causing additional mess.
Be Patient and Methodical: Removing wax from a wall may require patience and persistence. Take your time to allow the heat from the hair dryer to melt the wax thoroughly. Use clean paper towels to absorb the melted wax promptly, rotating to a fresh area as needed to avoid spreading the wax back onto the wall. Avoid scrubbing too vigorously, as this could damage the wall's surface.
