Celebrate the big game with a football pool and ice cream cake. Free printable football pool template to use at your party!
Our past few weekends have been filled with lots of football fun and we can't wait for the big game yet to come! In our neighborhood, our house is usually the gathering place to watch the game. I love having family and friends over to cheer on our home team and enjoy each other's company.
It's become tradition to have a football pool during the game. All our guests are pretty competitive and everyone likes to win! It just brings another level of excitement to the party!

When it comes to feeding our hungry fans, everyone brings a snack or a dish to pass and we always have plenty. For me, party planning has become a piece of cake lately - literally - a piece of cake. 🙂 Let me introduce you to I Love Ice Cream Cakes.
They have delicious, frozen ice cream cakes for all occasions, including the big game. Their cakes are available in grocery stores in the bakery or freezer section nationwide.
One of my absolute favorite cakes is their OREO® ice cream cake. The first time I served it, everyone raved about it, so I've continued to pick them up each Sunday. I love treating family and friends.
The adults have so much fun with the football pool, and the kids look forward to the party just for this cake!
This OREO® Ice Cream Cake is vanilla-flavored ice cream blended with OREO® cookie pieces, plus whipped frosting topped with a large OREO® cookie wafer and OREO® cookie pieces.
Every time the kids see that huge cookie on top of the cake, their eyes get almost just as big as that cookie!! They can't wait to dig in - and neither can I. Just look inside this beauty. It's complete deliciousness.
I think one of the reasons I keep having football parties, is just to get another taste of one of these cakes.
The whipped frosting detail goes all the way around the cake!
Pretty much perfection. Oh, and in case you were wondering about how it cuts. . .well, it cuts beautifully. I didn't need to warm my knife at all when cutting this cake.
You need to rush to the store and get your own ice cream cake before the big game. Trust me. You're going to love whichever one you choose. Did you know they even have a football-shaped ice cream cake?!
To make that grocery store trip a bit easier, I Love Ice Cream Cakes is offering a coupon for $3 off your game day cake! Sooo worth it to give one of these delicious cakes a try, don't you think?!
Enjoy the big game, friends. May the best team win!!

Jo-Anne, I hope your husband had a wonderful birthday and you enjoyed some ice cream cake. This Oreo cake was REALLY good. Take advantage of the coupon in the post. The best part of an ice cream cake is, they freeze well. 🙂 You can always have one on hand for unexpected celebrations or company!
