It's sure been hectic around here. We had sickness move through the family before and after Thanksgiving and so I've had to put my blogging on hold for a couple days to get everyone back to good health. Now that we're feeling normal again (well, as normal as possible), life can continue as scheduled (fingers crossed).

When I was Christmas shopping last year, I ran across a little Christmas "pail" like this one at one of the major department stores and I fell in love with it. I didn't buy it, though, because I always had good intentions on re-creating it, myself. Well, it's only taken me a year, but I'm proud to say, I did it.

I bought some of the cute little pails from Oriental Trading Company and filled them with gummy bears. Because who doesn't like gummy bears?

I wrapped a ribbon around the pail and then printed out my label on sticker paper and just stuck it on over the top of the ribbon.

It was looking good, but I felt it needed a little something more yet. I found a cute, blue, crazy-looking bow to stick on top of top of the pail to dress it up even more. Don't you just love all of the bright colors? I was thinking about making the label say, "May your days be BEARY and BRIGHT," but decided that might be a little too much. Yes?

If you want to make your own Merry & Bright gifts, just download the PDF and print the labels out on sticker paper. I've included four labels per sheet. What a fun idea for anyone in your life that needs a little Christmas cheer!

Thanks so much for your comment Printabelle! I'm thinking I may have to make a version with "Beary" on it too! Thanks for stopping by!

What a bright and beautiful gift! I think it would have been fun with Beary, too! Love it!
