I'm getting so excited about the Christmas holiday. I'm almost finished with my shopping, I have cookie baking on my mind and I've already started thinking about all of the wonderful food we're going to enjoy with family and friends in the upcoming weeks.
However, the holidays can be pretty stressful, however, if you're the one hosting. And even if you're not hosting at your house, you may still be bringing along a dish, dessert or even special drink to share wherever you're going. Today, with the help of the Chinet® company, I'm sharing the recipe for a No Blend Frozen Mudslide. It may remind you of my Grasshopper recipe. This one's just as good and just as easy. Oh, and yep, you heard me right. . .there's no blender necessary.
Let me introduce you to Chinet® first. 😉 The Chinet® brand has two collections I absolutely love, and I make sure to stock up on both of them during the holidays.
A must-have are the Chinet® Classic White™ dinner plates. They're really sturdy, can hold tons of food and there's no need to worry about leaks or spills.
The Chinet® Cut Crystal® line is clear and elegant, and matches any decor you can throw at it.
We're going to focus today on cups, specifically their stemless wine glasses, the newest addition to the Chinet® Cut Crystal® product family.
The glasses are clear, elegant and, most of all, convenient. They're a perfect choice for this frozen mudslide.
Believe it or not, this is a great drink to take along to a party. If you have to drive a ways, I'd make sure to pack the ice cream in a cooler. But once you get to the party, you can always just set the ice cream container out on the counter and allow it to thaw.
You may not need to use a microwave at all! No need to scoop, just pour the ice cream from the container into the glass - especially if you took the ice cream out and may have forgotten about it while you were standing under that mistletoe. 😉
There doesn't need to be a lot of fuss when it comes to serving something delicious. The disposable glasses make ENJOYING so easy. And isn't that what the holidays are all about?
Right now, BJ’s Wholesale Club is running a sale through December 31, 2016 on Chinet® Classic White™ dinner plates (115 ct.) and Chinet® Cut Crystal® plates and cups of all sizes. You can find a $2.00 off coupon for them in BJ’s Journal.
