The weekend is almost here and it's time to bake up some delicious Air Fryer Donuts! Did you know that you can bake in an air fryer? For those of you who don't have one yet, have I convinced you it's an investment you need to seriously consider?
I'm not into tons of gadgets, but I am into gadgets that work and make my life easier. My air fryer checks both boxes and even with my recent Ninja Foodi purchase, I'm not parting with my air fryer.
So, with that being said, let me show you how to make some donuts!
Making Air Fryer Donuts
You won't need a mixing bowl or any flour for this recipe, because we're using Grands! biscuits. Cut out the middle of each biscuit with a 1" cookie cutter and reserve the donut holes. You can air fry those, too!
To ensure we're not crowding the donut cut-outs, we're going to air fry four of them at a time.
After 4 minutes at 330º Fahrenheit, they should look like the photo below.
Tip: When frying up the donut holes, fry them for 3 minutes at 330º Fahrenheit.
After you've mixed up your glaze, you can start dipping the donuts.
Dip them gently into the sprinkles and you'll end up with a pretty delicious looking donut. Am I right?
Here's where you go and fix yourself up a nice cup of coffee. . .or milk. Whichever you prefer.☺️
And then work on finishing the donut holes in between bites.
Whatever you do, try and gobble them up while they're still warm and fresh. That's when they're at their best!
These air fryer donuts are the perfect way to start the weekend and they literally take minutes to prepare. Enjoy and Happy Friday, friends!

Notes
- Choose the Right Biscuits: Opt for Grands Biscuits for a quick and easy base for your air fryer donuts. These biscuits are typically larger and thicker, making them ideal for cutting into donut shapes. Ensure the biscuits are at room temperature before cutting to prevent them from becoming too dense during frying.
- Monitor Cooking Time Carefully: Since air fryers vary in temperature and cooking efficiency, keep a close eye on the donuts while they cook to prevent them from over browning. The suggested cooking times of 4 minutes for donuts and 3 minutes for donut holes are a guideline; adjust the cooking time as needed based on the specific model of your air fryer and the desired level of doneness.
- Customize Your Icing: While the recipe suggests a simple chocolate icing made with powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and milk, feel free to customize the icing to suit your preferences. You can add vanilla extract for flavor, adjust the consistency by adding more milk or powdered sugar, or experiment with different flavors by incorporating extracts or flavored syrups. Don't forget to have fun with the sprinkles, choosing colors and shapes that complement your donuts.
