WHAT'S A GOOD SUBSTITUTE FOR FRESH GARLIC?
Fresh garlic always provides the best flavor, but if you don't have any on hand, there are plenty of substitutes. When replacing fresh garlic, you'll want to adjust the measurement as well to control the intensity of the flavor.
Try one of these substitutes:
- Granulated garlic: Use ¼ teaspoon of granulated garlic in place of each clove.
- Minced garlic: Use ½ teaspoon of jarred minced garlic in place of each clove.
- Garlic powder: Use ⅛ teaspoon of garlic powder in place of each clove.
WHAT OTHER HERBS CAN BE USED TO ADD MORE FLAVOR TO THE BREADSTICKS?
If you want to add a little more "flair" to the breadsticks, you could try shaking on some Italian seasoning or trying one or a combination of the following herbs:
- Basil
- Thyme
- Rosemary
- Parsley
