    HOW TO MAKE EASY ORANGE CREAMSICLE SALAD

    Before you get started, make sure you have the following ingredients:

    • Orange jello 
    • Boiling water 
    • Cold water 
    • Instant vanilla pudding 
    • Whipped topping 
    • Mandarin oranges, drained 
    • Mini marshmallows

    PREPARING THE ORANGE CREAMSICLE SALAD

    Once you’ve gathered all your ingredients, follow the steps below for a quick and simple summery dessert!

    1. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil and pour it into the orange jello. Whisk until jello is dissolved. Pour in cold water while whisking and place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. 
    2. Remove from the refrigerator and add vanilla pudding. Whisk until well-combined. Place in the refrigerator for another 20 minutes or until it is thickened. 
    3. Add whipped topping, mandarin oranges, and marshmallows. 
    4. Stir until everything is combined.

    TIPS FOR MAKING ORANGE DREAMSICLE SALAD

    • Try adding chopped pecans or walnuts for some crunch in your salad!
    • If you don’t have mini marshmallows, you can chop regular marshmallows into mini ones.
    • Want a creamier salad? Try mixing in some cream cheese with the whipped topping.

    CAN I ADD OTHER INGREDIENTS TO THE ORANGE FLUFF SALAD?

    This dessert salad is super easy to customize! You can add different fruits such as pineapple tidbits or cherries, or you can switch the jello to another flavor such as peach or strawberry.

    You can also switch out the plain marshmallows for fruit flavored marshmallows for more flavor and color.

    HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I MAKE THIS SALAD?

    You can make this recipe as far as one day ahead for the best taste. Just store in the fridge and decorate with mandarin oranges within 30 minutes of serving so the oranges don’t dry out!

    HOW DO YOU STORE ORANGE CREAMSICLE SALAD?

    Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Stir the salad well before serving.

    Ingredients

    • 3 ounce package orange jello
    • 1 cup boiling water
    • ½ cup cold water
    • 3.4 ounce package instant vanilla pudding
    • 8 ounces whipped topping
    • 15 ounce can mandarin oranges (drained)
    • 1 cup mini marshmallows

    Instructions

    • Pour orange jello in a large mixing bowl. 
    • Bring 1 cup of water to a boil and pour it into the orange jello. Whisk until jello is dissolved.
    • Pour in cold water while whisking.  Place in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
    • Remove from refrigerator and pour in vanilla pudding.  Whisk until well-combined.
    • Place in the refrigerator for another 20 minutes or until it is thickened.
    • Remove from refrigerator and add whipped topping, mandarin oranges, and marshmallows.
    • Stir until everything is combined. 
    • Chill for an additional hour before serving.

    Notes

    • For a creamier salad, add in a bit of cream cheese with the whipped topping. 
    • Add chopped walnuts or pecans for crunch in your salad. 
    • If you don’t have mini marshmallows, you can use regular sized ones, just cut them into smaller pieces.
