HOW TO MAKE EGGNOG PUDDING DESSERT
Before you get started, make sure you have the following ingredients:
- Golden Oreos
- Butter
- Cream cheese
- Powdered sugar
- Whipped topping
- Vanilla extract
- Instant vanilla pudding mix
- Eggnog
- Whipped topping
- Christmas sprinkles (optional)
Once you’ve gathered all your ingredients, follow the steps below for a quick and easy holiday dessert.
PREPARING THE COOKIE CRUST
- Using a food processor or blender, beat Oreos until they are fine crumbs.
- Add the melted butter to the Oreo crumbs.
- Stir until well-combined.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9x13 baking dish.
MIXING UP THE CREAM CHEESE LAYER
- To prepare the cream cheese layer, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar in a large mixing bowl.
- Add vanilla and beat again.
- Add 1 cup of whipped topping and fold in gently.
- Spread this mixture over top of the prepared crust.
MAKING THE EGGNOG PUDDING LAYER
- To prepare the eggnog pudding layer, whisk pudding and eggnog together until thickened.
- Gently spread this layer over top of the cream cheese mixture. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours.
