Today, the love fest continues, and it’s all focused on our fur baby. We couldn’t forget about her!
Our English cream golden retriever, Belle, has been a bit sad lately. Wisconsin has been getting so much snow the past couple weeks, that it’s overwhelming for her to even try to run and play in the yard.
I knew just the thing to get her spirits up, and you can bet that these Peanut Butter Banana Homemade Dog Biscuits did the trick!
Making Homemade Dog Biscuits
This recipe is only five ingredients, and most people will have everything they need to make these biscuits already on-hand.
Start by throwing all ingredients into a mixing bowl and combine.
Once the dough is ready, use your hands or a rolling pin to flatten out the dough and start cutting out your shapes.
It’s always a good idea to make several different sizes and shapes, especially if you have a smaller dog and a larger dog.
I like to use the smaller biscuits as training treats, and I break the larger ones up into pieces so they last longer.😉
I’m pretty sure Belle knew that the treats I was making were especially for her. Her nose led her to the peanut butter right away.
The whole point of this post today is a simple message. Don’t forget about your pups on Valentine’s Day. . .or any day for that matter. They are part of the family and deserve a treat, too!
It will take you less than 30 minutes to make these homemade dog biscuits, so I say, GO FOR IT!
Spoil your dog this Valentine’s Day and show her how much she means to you.❤️
