Did you have a nice Thanksgiving holiday? I know things looked a bit different this year for all of us.
I do hope that things will continue to improve as we approach Christmas, but even if they don't, we need to look at this as a "blip" in time. Just a minor setback in the overall picture. We will get through this.
Whether you still went ahead and made a big turkey this Thanksgiving, or opted for turkey legs or turkey breast instead - if you have any leftovers, the recipe I'm sharing today is one the whole family is going to love.
A great way to use up leftover turkey, this Turkey Tetrazzini is creamy, cheesy and topped with crispy breadcrumbs.
So delicious!

HOW TO MAKE TURKEY TETRAZZINI
To make this tasty turkey pasta dish, you'll need:
- Linguine
- Butter
- Cream of celery soup
- Cream of mushroom soup
- Sour cream
- Garlic salt
- Pepper
- Chicken broth
- Cooked turkey
- Parmesan cheese
- Mozzarella cheese
- Bread crumbs
Once you have your ingredients together and have boiled your noodles, combine the butter, soups, sour cream, salt, pepper and chicken broth in a mixing bowl.
Stir in the cooked, cubed turkey.
Now, stir in the noodles until everything is combined.
Transfer the pasta and sauce into a greased 9x13 baking dish.
Sprinkle on the Parmesan and Mozzarella cheese and breadcrumbs.
Bake at 350º Fahrenheit for 35-40 minutes or until top is bubbly and slightly browned.
CAN I SUBSTITUTE CHICKEN FOR TURKEY IN THIS RECIPE?
Cooked chicken cubes or pieces would be an excellent substitute for the turkey. Keep it simple and use rotisserie chicken!
CAN I ADD VEGETABLES TO TETRAZZINI?
Sure! Go ahead and toss some veggies in there if you'd like. Onions, mushrooms, celery and carrots are all great options. Make sure to cook the vegetables until tender before adding to the casserole.
WHAT OTHER NOODLES CAN I USE IN TETRAZZINI?
If you don't have any linguine noodles, fettuccine or spaghetti noodles would also be great alternatives!
CAN I MAKE TETRAZZINI AHEAD OF TIME?
Yes, absolutely. Just prepare as instructed and add the cheese and bread crumbs before baking. To store until you're ready, cover tightly and place in the fridge for up to 24 hours before baking.
HOW SHOULD LEFTOVER TETRAZZINI BE STORED?
You can store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
CAN I FREEZE TURKEY TETRAZZINI?
Yes, you can. I like to use a foil pan if I know I'm going to freeze it. Make the recipe as instructed (omitting the breadcrumbs), cover tightly and freeze for up to two months.
Thaw in the fridge overnight and sprinkle with breadcrumbs before baking in the oven.
